I.D. & O.D. GRINDING - JIG GRINDING - SURFACE GRINDING - CENTERLESS GRINDING - SLICING - CERAMIC LAPPING

No minimum quantity, fast repsonse, and quick turn around lead times. Prototype or Production we are here to assist.
I.D & O.D. Grinding
We offer I.D. and O.D. grinding services to meet the exacting standards of industries requiring high precision, such as aerospace, automotive, medical devices, electronics, and energy. Our skilled technicians ensure that every part is manufactured with superior accuracy, consistency, and performance.
Capability
  • 7" Max O.D.
  • 6" Max I.D.
  • 10" Max Length
  • Tolerance ± .0001
JIG GRINDING
We provide precise and efficient Jig Grinding services, a critical process for achieving tight tolerances and intricate geometries in advanced ceramic components. Our jig grinding services are designed to meet the highest standards of accuracy and finish, ensuring your parts are crafted to specification.
Capability
  • Multi-Axis
  • .010" Minimum Hole Size
  • Flat Surfaces
  • Cyndrical Surfaces
Tolerance
  • Extremely tight tolerances (typically in the range of ±0.0001 inches). This makes it an ideal solution for complex parts that require precise dimensions, intricate features, or specific surface finishes.
SURFACE GRINDING
Surface grinding is a precision machining process used to produce a smooth finish on flat surfaces, improve surface quality, or prepare parts for subsequent processing. Surface grinding is primarily used for creating high-precision flat surfaces or refining the finish of parts.
Capability
  • 8" Max Height
  • 6" Max Width
  • 15" Max Length
  • Our surface finish capabilities tolerances as tight as Ra 0.05µm
  • Final Surface Grind after Metalization
Tolerance
  • Tolerances as tight as ±0.0001 inches. This capability is ideal for parts that require high precision in their surface dimensions, such as plates, discs, and various precision components.
CENTERLESS GRINDING
Precision machining process used to grind cylindrical parts without the need for holding them between centers (as in traditional cylindrical grinding). Instead, the workpiece is supported by a regulating wheel and a grinding wheel, allowing for high-efficiency, high-precision grinding of cylindrical shapes.
Capability
  • 6" Max O.D.
  • 10" Max Length
Tolerance
  • Centerless grinding is highly precise, and parts can be ground to tolerances as tight as ±0.0001 inches
PRECISION SLICING
A process that involves cutting or slicing ceramic materials into thin, precise sections. Ceramics are hard, brittle materials used in various industries such as electronics, aerospace, automotive, and medical devices. The slicing of ceramic materials presents unique challenges due to their hardness and brittleness, but with the right tools and techniques, it can be done with high precision and minimal damage to the material.
Capability
  • 7" Max O.D.
  • 8" Max Length Sections
  • .100" Min Length Sections
Tolerance
  • Ceramic slicing is highly precise and can achieve tolerances in the range of ±0.001-±.0005 inches
CERAMIC LAPPING
Ceramic lapping capabilities refer to the ability to achieve precise surface finishes, dimensions, and flatness on ceramic materials. Lapping involves a combination of abrasive particles and a flat, rotating surface to finely polish or grind a material, achieving high precision. Ceramics, due to their hardness, require specialized techniques when lapping.
Capability
  • 3" Max O.D.
  • 1.500" Max Thickness
Tolerance
  • The process can provide finishes as fine as Ra 0.05 microns, depending on the type of abrasive used.
